Why the RC468V Reads as Architecture, Not as Fixtures
270° Side Emission
Light leaves the panel from the face and from the edge. Butt two modules together and the joint disappears — there is no dark frame to break the ceiling into squares.
120 lm/W, Above Grade 1
4,300 lm from 35 W puts the series above China’s Grade 1 efficacy threshold. On a ceiling that runs 12 hours a day, that is where the saving lands.
Glare That Scales With Output
UGR <19 at 17 W, <22 at 28 W, <24 at 35 W. Pick the lowest output that meets the illuminance target rather than defaulting to the top of the range — the 35 W module is aimed at high ceilings where the viewing angle to the panel is steep.
IP54 Sealed Light Chamber
The luminous face is sealed to IP54 — dust and splash cannot enter the chamber. IK03 impact rating and Class II construction, no earth required.
PSU, PSD or Tunable White — Choose the Control Layer
The housing, optics and dimensions are identical across all three. The difference is the driver and what the building can do with the light afterwards.

Tunable white is stocked on the 28 W module (12NC 911401904088). Interact Office Flex is available as a project driver option on selected outputs and is quoted per project rather than held as a catalogue line. Dimming performance depends on the DALI controller; for DALI-2 certification of the system, refer to the Digital Illumination Interface Alliance.

Four Ways to Mount the Same Module
The modular backplate carries all four mounting interfaces. You do not need a different luminaire for a different ceiling — you need a different accessory kit.

Integrated Ceiling Grid
Drops straight into a standard 600 × 600 T-bar grid. Sits flush in the tile position with no additional frame.

Recessed in Plasterboard
Cut a 599 × 599 mm opening. The frameless front sits level with the board, giving a true flush ceiling with no visible trim.

Suspended
Use the Suspension Clip kit with drop rods for exposed soffits, double-height atria and industrial ceilings.

Spliced & Modular
Profile Clip 4040 and CPC Strip kits lock modules edge to edge into linear runs or square compositions. This is where the 270° emission pays off.

Electrical & installation notes
- Class II luminaire — double insulated, earth connection not required.
- Surge protection L-N 1 kV. In buildings with known switching transients, add external surge protection at the distribution board.
- Driver is external to the panel. Panel depth is 58 mm; total depth including driver stays below 70 mm, so the assembly clears shallow plenum voids.
- Ambient operating range −20 °C to +45 °C. L70B50 at 50,000 hours is rated at Ta = 25 °C — derate expected life if the plenum runs hotter.
- Body is IP20; the luminous face is IP54. Indoor dry locations only. For wet, washdown or high-humidity areas use a purpose-built IP65/IP66 luminaire instead.

The 35 W column and the RC468X code describe the FL version, which is offered in 4000K and 5000K only — no 6500K, no tunable white. The three accessory kits (CPC strip, Profile Clip 4040, suspension clip) are pack-level items: they have no individual page, and are quoted against your module count rather than sold on their own.

What is the difference between RC468V PSU, PSD and tunable white?
The luminaire is physically identical. PSU is a fixed-output driver switched on and off at the wall. PSD is a DALI-dimmable driver that accepts a digital dimming signal from a lighting control system, typically for daylight linking and occupancy-based dimming. Tunable white adds a second colour channel so the CCT can be shifted continuously between 3000K and 5000K, which is what circadian or wellness-led schemes need. Tunable white is stocked on the 17 W and 28 W modules only.
What ceiling opening and depth does the RC468V need?
The module is 599 × 599 mm, which is the standard 600 × 600 ceiling module, so it drops into a T-bar grid without modification. For plasterboard, cut a 599 × 599 mm opening. Panel depth is 58 mm and total depth with the external driver stays below 70 mm, so a plenum void of roughly 90 mm is comfortable. Because the driver is external rather than integrated, the panel itself remains thin enough for shallow ceiling construction.
Which accessories do I need to splice modules into a continuous run?
Two kits cover splicing. The RC468Z CPC Strip AC Kit (12NC 911401904090, 8 pcs) is for continuous-plane splicing where the modules sit in a T-bar grid. The RC468Z Profile Clip 4040 AC Kit (12NC 911401904091, 16 pcs) aligns modules edge to edge on a 40 × 40 profile. For a suspended installation, the RC468Z Suspension Clip AC Kit (12NC 911401904092, 16 pcs) takes the drop rods. Plan the kit quantity against the number of joints, not the number of panels.
Is the glare rating low enough for office and classroom work?
It depends on the output you choose. The 17 W module is UGR <19, which sits within common office comfort limits and is fine for screen-based work at normal mounting heights. The 28 W module is UGR <22 and the 35 W FL is UGR <24; both are intended for higher ceilings where the viewing angle to the panel is steep. Specify the lowest output that meets your illuminance target rather than defaulting to the top of the range. How does RC468X FL differ from RC468V?
RC468X FL uses the same 599 × 599 mm platform, the same four output classes and the same housing depth, but it is listed under the RC468X model prefix with an FL configuration code and is offered in 4000K and 5000K only — no 6500K, no tunable white. It is a separate ordering family, so it should be quoted against its own 12NC list rather than mixed into an RC468V schedule.
