Installation & Mounting Guide
Both SP135P and SP136P are Class II suspended luminaires. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician with the mains supply switched off. Suspension rods are not included with either series — order them separately according to the ceiling drop.
STEP 01
Plan Board and Desk Zones
Lay out SP136P positions on a regular grid over the desk area and place SP135P parallel to the writing board, typically one unit per 3–4 m of board length.
STEP 02
Order Suspension Rods
Rods are NOT included with either luminaire. Order SLZ ROD L 1000 fixed, SLZ ADJ ROD L 1000 or SLZ ADJ ROD L 1500 adjustable rods according to your ceiling drop.
STEP 03
Fix Ceiling Brackets
Mark suspension positions at approximately 650 mm rod spacing, drill locating holes and bolt the fixing brackets firmly to the ceiling structure.
STEP 04
Mount, Wire and Level
With the mains supply switched off, mount both luminaire types on their rods, connect L / N / PE to the driver terminals, then level each body and fully tighten all hex nuts.

What is the difference between the SP135P blackboard light and the SP136P classroom light?
They are two complementary luminaires, not alternatives. SP135P (12NC 911401903088) is a slim 1,200 × 64 × 104 mm batten that lights the writing-board plane with 3,000 lm at 85 lm/W. SP136P is a 1,195 × 295 mm grille panel for desk-plane illumination with 3,250 lm (CL) or 3,380 lm (CL UO). How many units of each luminaire do I need for a standard classroom?
As a planning reference, a typical 9.2 × 7.0 m K-12 classroom uses a 3 × 3 or 4 × 3 array of SP136P (9 to 12 units) over the desks with 1 to 2 SP135P units over the writing board. Do both luminaires meet GB 50034 and EN 12464-1 classroom requirements?
The SP136P series holds CCC certification and is specified with maintained desk illuminance above 500 lux, uniformity (U0) above 0.75, power density ≤ 8 W/m², flicker index <0.001 and UGR<16. SP135P adds UGR<16 glare="" control="" at="" the="" board="" plane="" with="" ra="">96 and R9>93. Together they target the photometric, electrical and photobiological (RG0) requirements of both standards.
Are suspension rods included, and can SP135P and SP136P share the same rod type?
Suspension rods are NOT included with either luminaire and must be ordered separately.
