Installation & Wiring
The BVC010 Solar Floodlight is a true all-in-one fixture — no external electrical wiring is required. The 5 m pre-wired cable with plug-and-play connector is permanently attached between the luminaire and the solar panel, allowing flexible positioning of the panel for optimum sunlight exposure.
Mounting
- Wall-mount or fixed-surface mount only (not rated for pole mounting)
- Choose a wall or surface that receives direct sunlight for the solar panel
- Use the included screws and bolts for fixture and bracket installation
- Adjust the solar panel tilt to face the local solar noon angle for best year-round charging
Wiring
- No external AC / DC wiring required — 100% solar powered
- 5 m pre-wired cable with plug-and-play connector between fixture and panel
- Connect the solar panel cable to the fixture cable connector before first use
- Activate by pressing the ON button on the included remote control
First-Time Setup
- Mount fixture and panel in direct sunlight before first use
- Allow the battery to fully charge for 1–2 sunny days before extended use
- Use the remote to switch between ON / OFF / AUTO / 3H / 5H / 8H
- Check the battery-status LED for charging / discharging feedback
Safety: This product contains a non-replaceable LiFePO4 battery. If the product has not been charged within 11 months of the manufacture date (per packaging label), the battery may enter over-discharge and the product may not start. Always store in 0–25 °C, ≤ 75% RH. Operating range is 0–45 °C; below 0 °C or above 45 °C the battery backup is reduced.

Installation Instructions & Remote Control Work Modes
Mount the solar panel at 45–55° for optimal charging. Use M6 / 1/4"-20UNC screws with the integrated U-bracket for wall or surface mounting. The PHILIPS IR remote supports ON, OFF, AUTO, 3H, 5H, 8H, All and Part modes. Note: the lamp has no built-in motion sensor.
